My wife and I started our flower farm about ten years ago, because we were interested in raising our children on a small, family-oriented farm. It has been a great experience for the children, learning many aspects of agriculture.
We have followed organic practices, using organic fertilizers and cover crops, for over 20 years. We believe in enriching the soil, rather than depleting it for a quick gain.
We grow a broad range of vegetables including peas, beans, beets, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, pumpkins, Asian vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, squash, garlic, shallots, onions. Fruits include currants, raspberries, strawberries. We also grow herbs, annuals, and perennials.
