After many years as a software developer in Chicago, I moved to the Rochester area in 2009 to start a family farm with relatives in this area. We focus a lot of our resources on remineralizing our soil and growing the sweetest, most flavorful and nutritious food available.
We are sustainable, nutrient-dense farmers. Our careful and intensive soil-building program is designed to put the most minerals possible into the food we produce. This gives us a sweeter, longer-keeping, and more flavorful product. As our soil and crop health increase, we are having fewer bugs and diseases. Nothing toxic is ever applied to the soil or the plants, and we never use herbicides or pesticides.
We grow flowers, plus a broad range of vegetables and fruits, including beans, beets, carrots, cauliflower, corn, kale, lettuce, eggplant, peas, radishes, spinach, winter squash, tomatoes, watermelon.
