Weather Update

Today is a bit rainy. No thunderstorms. The rain is expected to end around 4 pm.

Today is the Last Day of the Season

Today's Market Day is the last one of the 2019 season. It is the last chance to pick up this year's freshest local products and to talk to our farmers and bakers till next year. Please wish them a happy close to the harvest and a warm winter! We end this season with a new vendor and lots of thanks to all the visitors who took advantage of the special foods and products we have at this Market.

PREVIOUSLY AT THE MARKET

Last week was a glorious fall day.

Bright blue sky and a waving banner flat.

Gourds of many sizes, colors, and shapes.

It is the height of the apple and grape season.

Baked goodies to go with tea or coffee.

Andy and friends entertained.

FOOD and CRAFTS THIS WEEK

Sunscape Farms, Penfield

Sweet corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, sweet peppers, onions, potatoes, green beans, summer squash, and beets. Winter squash (spaghetti, butternut, delicate, etc.). Pumpkins. Nectarines, plums, apples, pears, and cantaloupe. Cut flower bouquets and mums.

Clover Meadow Creamery, Lyons

Goat milk, goat yogurt, goat cheese and herbed cheeses. Fresh eggs, too.

GG Bakes, Rochester

Fruit pies, spicy ginger snaps, and a variety of other pastries and cookies, like pumpkin cookies.

Farm Boy Products

Home made soap products, lip balms, natural insect repellant bar (brazilian lemon eucalyptus oil), beeswax candles, and solid lotion bar. Gourmet spice rub mixes. Meditteraneian zucchinis and tomatoes.

PathStone representative Courtney Klee will be at our market to help you with lowering energy costs in your home or apartment. PathStone works with homeowners and renters right where they live to achieve energy efficiency. In cooperation with NYSERDA and its Green Job New York Program, the non-profit organization provides energy assessments, income qualified grants and low interest loans.
