Weather Update

Today's afternoon forecast is for mostly sunny with a light breeze.

Monroe Avenue Update

Finally, after years of waiting, Monroe Avenue is being repaved. Today, crews will be milling away the old bumpy and cracked surface in prepration for the new pavement.

By 4pm, when the Market opens, the heavy machinery should be done with the first phase and parked off-site. Traffic may still be routed through cones, but access to the Market should be clear

Of course, walkers and cyclists will not have a problem. If necessary, drivers can enter the parking lot area from Oxford Street or Rutgers Street.

Sunscape Farms, Penfield

Beautiful mixed bouquets of cut flowers, hanging baskets, annuals, and herbs. Tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic, potatoes, zucchini, eggplant, sweet peppers, cantaloupe, apples.

Clover Meadow Creamery, Lyons

Goat milk, goat yogurt, goat cheese and herbed cheeses. Fresh eggs, too.

GG Bakes, Rochester

Fruit pies, spicy ginger snaps, and a variety of other pastries and cookies, like pumpkin cookies.

Farm Boy Products

Home made soap products, lip balms, natural insect repellant bar (brazilian lemon eucalyptus oil), beeswax candles, and solid lotion bar. Gourmet spice rub mixes. Meditteraneian zucchinis and tomatoes.

MUSIC THIS WEEK

Andy Willoughby

Andy plays keyboard and brings along some friends. He likes to play pop, rock, and folk tunes. And he created the CHORDTEACHER card to help teach music and show the mathematical nature of the western music scale.
