Monroe Branch Library

Adult Librarian Mary Clare Scheg will host our Community Table this week.  She will offer free books as well as  information about the library's summer programs. Learn about the Escape Room and July Adult Programs listed below and then drop by the table for additional information about Youth and Teen programming.

SPECIAL JULY EVENT – THE ESCAPE ROOM! Saturday, July 20 Come and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing with The Monroe Branch Library. Use your skills to “escape from the moon’s surface”. This “Escape Room” will be held at 3 different times: 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Space is limited to 15 people per session. Registration is required. You may register online, by calling the Branch or simply stopping in. NOTE: The first session at 6 p.m. is for families. Children need to be 8 and older. The other 2 sessions are for teens and adults only.

*Book Discussion Wednesday, July 24 at 1:30 p.m. They will be discussing the book: “The Girl They Left Behind” by Roxanne Veletzos. 

*Summer Reading Fun for Adults Would you like to shake up your summer and do something different? Stop in and check out the library's adult reading program. This program will go from July 15 until August 24. All participants will have a chance to win some special prizes. The drawing for prizes will take place on Tuesday, August 27th.
