This week, at about 6 pm, the Monroe Village Task Force and member neighborhood groups will present a certificate of apprecation to police on the local Monroe Avenue beat.

Corn, tomatoes, zucchini, green and yellow beans, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, winter squash, apples, nectarines, plums, peaches and cataloupe. Beautiful mixed bouquets of cut flowers, hanging baskets, mums, annuals, and herbs. And what ever else might be harvested in the morning!

Timber Buck Maple, Bloomfield

Assorted salad greens, free range eggs, garlic, garlic scapes, honey, maple syrup, maple candy, blueberry jam, hot mustard spread, hot peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, and cut flower bouquets.

Goat milk, goat yogurt, goat cheese and herbed cheeses. Coffee roasted in Wayne County.

Background

Traditional and contemporary folk music, Celtic, bluegrass, other genres. Multi-instrumentalist: guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, concertina, harmonica, etc. Sing-alongs, historical and theme programs.

Allen has performed in the Rochester area for 45 years. He plays and sings solo, duets, and in a variety of bands. He schedules about 200 performances annually, with an emphasis on seniors, local festivals, historical societies, libraries, and farm markets.
