Snap beans (snap peas), broccoli, asparagus, radishes, rhubarb, scallions, onions, green house and field tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, Swiss chard, spinach, annuals and herbs for immediate planting, hanging baskets, and cut flower bouquets.

Timber Buck Maple, Bloomfield

Assorted salad greens, free range eggs, garlic, garlic scapes, honey, maple syrup, maple candy, and cut flower bouquets.

Multi-era, multi-genre. Rock, Acoustic Rock, 50s-90s pop, folk, and select current (2000-present) rock/pop. Sets can be topic or artist themed, era-based, genre-based and random, often on-the-spot patron-request based.

Gerard is a local Rochester musician performing in and around town for nearly 25 years. His wife Jeanne began performing with him in the late 90s and together they have been entertaining both as a duo and with a variety of other talented musicians.


Monroe Branch Library

Our Monroe Branch Library is one ‚Äčof the reasons we love to live in this neighborhood.  Librarian Mary Clare Scheg will be at our market to offer free books and to answer your questions about  the many resources available just a short walk up the Avenue.

Remember, the Monroe Branch Library is open late on market nights.  Drop by on Wednesdays until 8 PM.

Summer Berry Cobbler

Serves 6 to 8

Ingredients - Berry Mixture

  • 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 pint raspberries
  • 1 pint blackberries
  • 1 pint strawberries (hulled and halved)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (plus a little more for dusting)
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 Tbs cornstarch
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • melted butter for drizzling
  • 1 batch of Blueberry Scone Dough (below)

Ingredients - Blueberry Scones

  • 2 cups unbleached flour (plus a little more for rolling)
  • 1 Tbs baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (chilled and cut into chunks)
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk (or plain yogurt or cream)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pint blueberries


  1. Preheat oven to 400 deg F.
  2. Combine berries with sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Spread the berry mixture out on a 10-inch baking, tart or gratin dish.
  4. Dollop spoonfuls of the scone dough evenly over the top of the fruit. Leave a border around the edge for spreading while baking.
  5. Drizzle the surface with melted butter and dust with sugar.
  6. Set on a cookie sheet and bake for 25 to 35 minutes (until the top is golden brown and fruit juices are bubbling).
  7. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  8. Consider the addition of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
